Here are some highlights fro​m the festival in chronological order.

Friday 8th Sep​tember

17:30 - Welcome to Bollywood Festival Lørenskog Hus (Festplassen)

Welcome to Bollywood Festival on red carpet as we welcome our arriving guests and stars to our opening ceremony and opening film. Oslo Janitsar (Brass Band) will play Bollywood tunes to set the mood.

18:00 - Opening ceremoney Lørenskog Hus (Storstua)

Opening ceremoney of Bollywood Festival Norway 2023, with speaches, dance performances etc. After the ceremoney a break will be taken before opening film and snacks and drinks will be served.

19:00 - Babli Bouncer (Hindi/w English Sub) Lørenskog Hus (Storstua)

Opening Film - Babli Bouncer (with director of the film; Madhu Bhandarkar presenting his film)

Saturday 9th September

12:00 - Children's day Lørenskog Hus (Festplassen)

Children's day is a sort of mini mela with food stalls and a lots of activities for children and families, including free face painting, workshops and other entertainment.

16:00 - Director Masterclass with Madhu Bhandarkar ​Oslo Klingenberg Cinema

Madhu Bhandarkar is a celebrated director in Bollywood with many high hitting titles under his belt. This is a unique opportunity to learn from his perspective and get an insight to his methods of working.

18:00 - Exclusive Premiere of Hør Her'a! Lørenskog Cinema

Exclusive premiere of upcoming Norwegian film on social topic among families, with focus on a family with minority background. Combine it with childrens day, and maybe you will run in to an actor or two from the film.

Sunday 10th September

18:00 - Bollywood Musical Night Lillestrøm Kultursenter

A spectacular Punjabi and Bollywood concert with Jasbir Jassi and other artists, with live dance performances.

Monday 11th September

18:00 - Free moviescreening for Refugees - Love In Ukraine Lørenskog Cinema

The last international film production to happen in Ukraine before the war started. Love in Ukraine is a Bollywood love story. The film is shown free of charge to refugees from Ukraine, and other countries.

Wednesday 13th September

17:00 - Registration - Seminar Child Welfare in Norway Oslo Klingenberg Cinema

Registration for this year's seminar starts, and snacks and drinks will be served.

17:45 - Seminar - Child Welfare in Norway (Barneværn) Oslo Kli​ngenberg Cinema

In the light of recent movie, Mrs Chattarjee vs Norway, the debate has again gained momentum in regards to Child Welfare (Barneværn) in Norway, if what they are doing is in the best interest of children and their families, or if this is a multi million dollar industry as some claim.

19:00 - Mrs Chattarjee vs Norway Oslo Klingenberg Cinema
