In September 2026, we mark a historic milestone—25 years of Bollywood Festival Norway. This Silver Jubilee Edition, taking place from 4th to 10th September across Lørenskog, Oslo, and Lillestrøm, promises to be our most spectacular yet.

We invite you to join us for a week of cinematic brilliance, vibrant performances, and unforgettable cultural experiences. Today, the festival goes far beyond films and dance. It encompasses live concerts, fashion shows, workshops, masterclasses, seminars, and interactive cultural showcases—offering a holistic celebration of India’s artistic legacy in a Nordic setting.

2026 HIGHLIGHTS

  • Grand Opening Ceremony (4 Sept) – Film, dance, and official guests from India and Norway.
  • Outdoor & Drive-In Cinemas in Holmlia Park, LørenskogPrestegård, and ØkernTårn (12 Sept).
  • Children's Day (5 Sept) – Fun activities, dance, film, and entertainment in cooperation with Metro Senter.
  • Poetry & Film (6 Sept) – International poets and artists sharing words and cinema.
  • Music Concert (6 Sept)

DANCE PROGRAM

Dance is the soul of the festival. In 2026 we will feature groups from India, Poland, and Norway, including:

  • Natarang (Poland)
  • Bollywood Ballet (The Norwegian Opera & Ballet)
  • Punjabi Vikings
  • Kalyany Dance School
  • Aasma (India)

Workshops for children and youth will also be part of the celebration.
