Genre: Bhangra, Folk and dance music

Jasbir Jassi is a wellknown Punjabi singer when it comes to name some of the respected popular ones in Punjabi music industry who have given their lives to make music unbeatably awesome. Jassi, like several of his counterparts is a first generation musician. As a kid, young Jassi played the harmonium and was a trained classical musician under the auspices of gurus VS Jolly and Puran Shah Koti of the Sufiana fame. Classical guru Ustad Shaukat Ali Khan heavily influences this Punjab da munda, Jassi's himself influence is Baba Kashmira Singh ji who inspired him to look beyond the horizons and reach pinnacle of perfection in his field. Jasbir Jassi was featured on small screen on NDTV Imagine's 'Dhoom Macha De' and he was crowned as "The Show Stopper" who created history on television for his dynamic performances. His role as a judge in reality singing show 'Voice of Punjab 2' was appreciated well by the audience.


Jaspinder Narula

Genre: Punjabi and Bollywood

Jaspinder Narula. Jaspinder Narula is a famous Punjabi singer and Bollywood playback singer. She is also a Sufi music singer. She shot to fame after the duet "Pyar to hona hi tha" with Remo Fernandes from the 1998 film Pyar To Hona Hi Tha for which she won the 1999 Filmfare Best Female Playback Award. In 2008, she won the title of India's Best Live Performer in the NDTV Imagine singing reality series, Dhoom Macha De (2008). She also a singer of Sufi music, and as well as Gurbani and other Sikh religious music.

She excels in singing folk and devotional songs. She has lent her voice to record numerous music albums for a large number of successful Bollywood films like Dulhe Raja, Virasat, Mission Kashmir, Mohabbatein and Bunty aur Babli to name a few. She complete her Ph.D. in Hindustani classical music from Delhi University in 2008.

Genre: Balkan, Folk and Dance music

Traditional Indian music for whistle and tabla. B. Vijayagopal started playing the whistle already as 4 years old when he showed unusual music talent by singing raga in any tone and swaprastharas in different tales for all the music he heard. He talent was carefully cared for by the family, who is deeply involved in music. When Vijayagopal started his training in vocal music, he remains true to the gayaki style of Carnatic music, creating an authentic vocalized whistle style. As a virtuoso singer, he mixes smooth song and flute play's complicated instrumental patterns.

Vijayagopal has won several has performed at many events and has won several awards for his talent.






Indian Dance Group Natarang

Indian Dance Group Natarang is a group of people inspired with Indian culture. The group has been sharing their love and passion for Indian dance and tradition. They have been part for our festival for many years. Their dance has been most popular in Norway.  Dancers learn classical Odissi dance under Guru Padmashree Smt. Ranjana Gauhar in New Delhi and also Kuchipudi dance under Guru Arunima Kumar in London.

R.E.D Company
R.E.D Company (Residency Eina Dance) was launched with an artistic vision with professional dance artists at the newly created international art community. E. COMPANY. The company's goal is to work with artistic exploration and immersion based on all-round themes. This will communicate both emotionally, visually and intellectually and musically, to meet an audience who has little knowledge of the art field while at the same time meeting an intellectually-experienced audience. The performances are sought to be displayed both in Norway and internationally.
We have dancers Charlott Utzig , Ingrid Kvalvik and Erlend Danielsen giving their best under choreograpy from Sudesh Adhana.

This is a group which aim to preserve Tamil culture heritage. Narthana Kaviyaa Dance Centre has collaborated with Bollywood festival more than 6 years. This year we present a modern classical dance form to Bollywood opening day at Lørenskog.

Clair Constant

Clair Constant is a Norwegian National Ballet dancer. Clair Constant danced with Pact Ballet in Pretoria in parts such as Lisa in La Fille Mal Gardee and the Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, with the Hong Kong Ballet with whom she toured Europe in 2000, and with Ballet Ireland prior to joining the Norwegian National Ballet in 2004. Clair Constant has received several awards during her dancing career in South Africa.

Deepali Bhargava

Deepali Bhargava is behind the dance group consisting of Jessica Kaur Sidhu, Arthika Umapalan, Anna Granli, Nicole Fernandez, Ninni Fredriksen and Victoria C. F. Østhagen. They are part of the Norwegian hiphop national team. Deepali is behind the concept and choreographed this with the help of Anna, Jessica and Arthika in the group.
