Årets Bollywood festival er på Lørenskog Hus- kino. I tillegg skal vi ha en del andre aktiviteter andre steder. Prøv å få med deg hele festivalen som byr på mye i år. (EidFilm Bodyguard fra 31. august og Bol fra 1. september.)

Årets festivalprogram byr på gode filmer, dans workshop, master class med regissør Prakash Jha, seminar om æresdrap og ekstremisme, Bollywood danseshow på Dansens Hus, og til slutt Bollywood konsert på Cosmopolite. Alle store filmer går på Lørenskog kino. Festivalen byr på mer enn 22 filmer i programmet for årets festival. 31. august er det verdenspremiere på storfilmen Bodyguard og Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Eid premiere den 1. september Bol, Aarakshan, Band Baja Barat, det er actionfilmer som Allah key Bhandey, Singham, Delhi, Belly, og ikke minst har vi barnefilmer som Chillar Party og Stanly Ka Dhaba, og flere andre gode filmer i årets program. Alle filmer vises med engelske undertekster.
2. sep. Galla Festivalåpning kl. 1800 Lørenskog kino i nye Lørenskog Hus. Dans presentert av forskjellige grupper fra India, Norge og UK. Pause med enkel servering. Etter pausen vises åpningsfilmen Aarakshan med regissør Prakash Jha tilstede. Filmstjernene Prem Chopra, Sharman Joshi og VIP folk kommer .
3. sep. Master class med den 8 ganger nasjonale prisvinnende regissør Prakash Jha, fra kl. 0930-1600. Det er et arrangement for filmbransjen, filmskoler og alle som vil lære om film og skuespill. Du kommer ikke nærmere Bollywood i Norge enn på denne Master class med ett av Bollywoods store navn. Det er en unik mulighet til å bli kjent med Bollywood film industri. 4. sep. Tagore dag. Feiringen av Indias/Asias første Nobelprisvinner Rabindernath Tagores 150 års dag, med dans, musikk og litteratur.. Dette kan bidra til kulturforståelse og stortenking av Tagore for hele verden. Dette arrangementet gjennomføres i samarbeid med Rabindrosenteret i Norge, med live musikk, dans, diktlesing på norsk, hindi og engelsk, og passer for alle. Søndag kl 1400 i Storstua på Lørenskog Hus. Dette er et gratis arrangement.
6. sep. Filmen Khap (om æresdrap) og seminar fra kl. 1700 med regissør Ajay Sinha og flere andre viktige personligheter tilstede. Gratis adgang.
7. sep. Rommen Scene, Oslo, Stovner. BollywoodFilm- og dansaften. Gratis adgang. Dans kl 1700, film kl 1800. Ta med venner og familie.
8. sep. Festivalavslutning på Dansens Hus, Møllerveien 2 i Oslo. Et viktig Danseshow for alle dere som ikke har fått med dere Bollywood-dans og musikk enda. Grip sjansen nå. Fra India presenteres Bollywood dans, klassisk indisk dans, Bollywood ballett, og en av Oslos beste korps, Oslo Janitsjar, skal spille Bollywoodmusikk med indisk Dhol og dans. Indisk snacks og drikke. Billetter på Dansen Hus.
9. sep. Bollywoodkonsert. Indias beste sangartist fra 80- og 90-tallet, Kumar Sanu, og flere i programmet: A Tribute to Kishore Kumar på Cosmopolite Scene på Soria Moria, Torshov iOslo . Billetter kan kjøpes på www.billettservice.no

The 9th annual Bollywood festival Norway
This year's Bollywood festival will be at the cinema in the new Lørenskog Hus. There will be many activities in Lørenskog Hus during the festival. This is a festival you don't want to miss! It's something for the whole family to experience.
This year's festival offers a lot. 22 films, dance, workshops, a master class with director Prakash Jha, and a seminar about honour killings and extremism. There will be Bollywood dance shows at Dansens Hus in Oslo, and at the end of the festival there will be a big tribute concert at Cosmopolite at Torshov (Soria Moria).
All films will be showed in Lørenskog cinema. There will be 22 films through the whole festival. It is the world premiere of two films: Bodyguard and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, and Eid premiere of Film Bol, Aarakshan and Band Baja Barat . There will be action movies like Allah key Bhandey, Singham, Delhi Belly, and for the young ones we have Chillar party and Stanley Ka Dabba. All films has english subtitles. 2. sep. Gala festival opening at Lørenskog cinema in Lørenskog Hus. There will be dance presented from groups from India, Norway and the UK. Refreshments are served troughout the evening. The opening film is Arakshan with director Prakash Jha present. There will we appearances from actors and directors at the opening.
3. sep. Master class with Prakash Jha, eight times national award winning director, between 0930-1600. This is an event for the film industry, film schools and all of you that want to learn more about film and acting. You can't come any closer to Bollywoood in Norway than this. 4. sep. Tagore Day. India/Asia's first Nobel peace prize winner, Rabindernath Tagore's 150th birthday, will be celebrated with dance, music and literature. This can help with cultural understanding. This event is carried out in collaboration with Rabindrosenteret in Norway. Live music, dance and poetry reading in norwegian, hindi and english makes this right for everyone. Sunday at 1400 in Storstua at Lørenskog Hus. Free entry.
6. sep. The movie Khap (about honor killings). Seminar from 1700 with director Ajay Shina, and several other important personalities present. Free entry!
7. sep. Rommen scene at Stovner in Oslo. Bollywood film and dance evening. Dance at 1700, and film at 1800. We hope to see you and your family there. Free entry.
8. sep. Festival ending at Dansens Hus in Oslo, Møllerveien 2. An important dance show for all of you who have not seen Bollywood dance and music yet. Grab the chance now!
